The 1st UK-HK Children and Young People's Book Festival is dedicated to young members of the diaspora, using books as a bridge and words as a paintbrush to inspire endless possibilities. No matter where they are, children and young people can imagine their own worlds and cultivate a new sense of home wherever they hang their hats.
On this fun-filled day celebrating English and Chinese literature, young people and families can explore a wide range of Traditional Chinese and English books, join exciting workshops, meet their favourite authors, and enjoy a creative arts exhibition alongside film screenings.
“One day, when asked, ‘Where are you from?’ they can smile and answer, ‘Here, where we have rebuilt our home.’”
